INTRODUCTION

Based in Hampshire, PF Modular has been providing high-quality, flexible modular accommodation solutions to businesses and organisations around the UK since 2005. Their knowledge and expertise, along with their competitive prices, means they can satisfy a diverse range of customer requirements, from secure storage units to bespoke, multi-storey offices and marketing suites.

A distinct growth area for PF Modular over the last few years has been the construction and provision of modular units to the education sector – an absolutely perfect solution for often ‘cash strapped’ school bursars to get the extra space they need for growing student populations at a price that fits their budget.

Insight were introduced to Richard Crawford at PF Modular through their search marketing/web developers based in East Yorkshire and we were asked to consider documenting an upcoming project at Priestlands School in the New Forest, Hampshire.
The project required us to attend site not far from Southampton for an initial visit to install a network enabled time lapse system and to capture the site as it was, before construction began. The time lapse camera system was configured to capture an image every 5 minutes throughout the duration of the build and allowed us and our client to keep an eye on the project remotely throughout the whole process – an added bonus for all involved!

During the initial visit, we also filmed the arrival and craning-in of the units which would be brought together to form the new classroom block. We used our DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone to capture the action and was able to get some really dynamic shots as the cranes moved around the skyline.
6 Weeks after our initial visit, we returned to a very tidy and complete site and finished off our content gathering in the form of stills photography, the creation of a 360 VR Tour and general videography. We interviewed the head of the school and also the bursar to get their unique inputs on how the overall project had gone making sure to get plenty of feedback on how our client had performed – so important when putting together a case study.

The final content package was used to create case studies which featured 3 different videos, a virtual tour and a suite of photographs which have helped PF Modular move their marketing efforts forwards.

We really enjoyed working on this case study for our client – our ‘one stop shop’ approach to content creation meant they only had to hire one supplier to capture all 5 content modalities – a definite cost saving for them!

CLIENT FEEDBACK

Richard Crawford fed back his satisfaction with the content we produced during our first project working for his business
“We will definitely be working with Insight Photography again, we have several big projects coming up in 2024 that we would like capturing – Andrew and his team did a great job for us at Priestlands and we are delighted with the content delivered. It was our first time working with an integrated content creator like Insight, the project was created on time and on budget – communication was very easy and always prompt. Would highly recommend Insight Photography”
